Combat Tricks

Combat Tricks is a solo RPG supplement that adds an exciting new way to face your foes in your favourite system.

Combat Tricks is a combat resolution system that uses a card game akin to Whist or Rummy to decide the winner of battles. You know your opponents hand, you just don't know the order.

Included in this supplement are the rules and five boss types. Each boss has their own description, quest hooks and unique mechanic. These bosses are archetypes rather than fully developed characters, so you can use their stats and mechanics on any villains you already have in your campaigns, or use them as a basis for a brand new foe for your player character to face. 

Incorporate these bosses into the story in easy and interesting ways using the quest hooks. Multiple are included for each character to cover a variety of options and to kick-start the imagination of the reader.

I hope you're prepared to face the bosses. Each of their unique mechanics makes their fight much harder than a regular goon. You will need to have strategy, luck or a lot of equipment on your side to get out alive.
